When is my order charged?
Your order is charged within one business day after it was placed. The reason we charge you before starting the manufacturing process, is that all our products are made to order, according to your specifications. A confirmation email of your order and payment will be sent to you. Please check the confirmation email and your order details for accuracy and notify us immediately if there are any errors. You should keep a copy of this email which also contains your order number. If you paid through PayPal your order number can also be found in the PayPal payment receipt.
Once you place your order and full payment is made, you agree that you are not entitled to withdraw or modify your commitment made for the purchase of any goods from this website for any reason, including without limitation, due to any delay (up to 10 days) in delivery. Your contract with Aletta Smit homeware or custom-bedding.com comes into existence when reception of your payment has been confirmed. When you have paid through PayPal's website you will receive both a PayPal payment confirmation and an order confirmation email from Aletta Smit homeware, which means that we have accepted your order and receipt of your payment has been confirmed. Upon placing an order it is the customer's responsibility to check his/her mailbox (inbox as well as spam/junk folders) for the forementioned confirmation emails.

All items in our webshop are made to order, according to your specifications and therefore we will not generally allow returns or exchanges. Please read our Return Policy for more information.

Pricing and Sales Tax
Greek national law requires Aletta Smit Homeware to collect sales tax on all orders shipped either nationally or internationally, within or outside the European Union. All prices displayed on this website include 24% VAT, excluding shipping costs and handling fees. For deliveries outside the E.U. import fees and/or duties must be paid by the receiver upon receipt of the shipment and are not included in the shipping costs.
