Sheets for extra-large and non-standard beds

Standard bedding sizes do not always work for larger mattresses. Some beds need longer sheets, wider sheets, deeper fitted sheets or custom dimensions that are not available in regular stores.

Our oversized bed sheets are made according to the measurements you provide. For a fitted sheet, you should measure the length, width and depth of the mattress. For a flat sheet or top sheet, you can choose the finished size depending on how much fabric you prefer at the sides and foot of the bed.

If your mattress is particularly thick or has a topper, you may also need a deeper fitted sheet. In that case, please measure the full height of the mattress, including the topper, so that the pocket depth is suitable.

How to choose the right size

To order oversized sheets with the right fit, start by measuring your bed carefully. You will usually need:

  • the width of the mattress;
  • the length of the mattress;
  • the depth of the mattress, if ordering a fitted sheet;
  • the preferred finished size, if ordering a flat sheet or top sheet.

For very large beds, such as extra-large king beds or custom-size mattresses, the dimensions of fitted sheets and flat sheets will not be the same. A fitted sheet needs to follow the exact mattress size, while a flat sheet can be made larger depending on how much overhang or tuck-in fabric you prefer.
